¹¹ Jesus answered, `Elijah does come. He will get everything ready.

¹² I tell you that Elijah has come already. The people did not know him. And they did to him just what they wanted to do. So also the Son of Man will be troubled by them.'

¹³ Then the disciples knew that he was talking about John the Baptizer.
